Mindful Embodiment’s mission is to help people become their own best healers by learning how to regulate their nervous system, feel safer in their bodies, and become more aligned with their intuition.
My name is Cristina and I hold a Masters Degree in Counseling. I worked as a Secondary School Counselor for the first twelve years of my career. My experience working in mental health and witnessing the physical manifestations of stress amongst my clients (headaches, stomach issues, back pain, etc) led me to want to learn more about the mind-body connection. As a result, in 2018 I obtained a 600-hr certification as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist as well as a 200-hr certification as a Therapeutic Yoga Teacher. I believe that through therapeutic yoga, people can discover answers they seek to questions in their lives – all by looking within themselves and becoming more aware of their bodies, thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
